Evolving

How crazy is that we could be in the middle of evolving, and not even realize it?

I feel like every time I realize I have a evolved or stepped into a different version of myself, it’s only after the fact I am in a new version of myself when I can actually see proof of it through photos or through my business or through other people who tell me something has changed within me.

And in every season of my business that a new year begins I try to create long lists of “to dos” or goals that seems so far fetched even tho I feel like in some cases I have actually made some of those goals a reality just by simply being completely “delulu” as some would call it but there are definitely some that I physically know that I’m not capable of becoming or completing and that’s okay.

This year Trish and I decided to focus on 1-2 goals that may be big goals but we believe are 100% attainable 💖

And I think that’s all that matters and IF we can make a few other goals happen in the process that’s def cool too.

I think most of our manifestos/goals had to do with traveling since we’ve kind of been still and no travels these past almost two years due to our senior pups health and of course our clients weddings keep us stationed as well.

And, that’s quite all right because in the process, we are saving money while dreaming and making the most of what we have in a really harsh political climate that has increased the cost of living to and astronomical amount.

So with all that being said, I do believe, evolving is realizing what is important taking time to focus on what it’s gonna take to give you the best quality of life, and focusing on building a foundation around wisdom that allows peace to flow freely into your life.

I do believe 2025 taught us SOOO MUCH and 2026 will be a year of our hard work finally paying off.

We are truly excited for the growth of our company, and how we have started taking on additional clients that are being taken care of by our team, and not just Trish and I and that is something to take pride in.

To be able to build something and learn how to delegate it with a proper team is evolution if you ask us 💛

As photographers one of the things I truly value as a small business is being genuine, and creating relationships with clients that truly last a lifetime versus just a one time event.

And we are hoping to carry that energy into 2026 by creating more personalized experiences by taking on 10 to 15 events while our team is still carrying on taking 20 to 30 weddings a year.

Because being busy isn’t always successful and as a CEO, the best way to grow, your business is to delegate and bring others up in the process and watching them grow too 💛

So cheers to new chapters as a CEO of my business, and learning to becoming a CEO of my life by learning to take care of myself physically, emotionally, and mentally 🥹 and delegating bc we are evolving babaaaay ✨✨✨
