With spring-inspired florals, customized details and a unique take on modern design trends, Kelly and Heather’s wedding was a romantic and luxurious celebration of Pride in Houston like no other.
This spring, myself and our team of associates had the pleasure of shooting our biggest wedding to date photographing the wedding of Kelly and Heather! We’d been excited ever since they reached out to us, because not only are they our dream clients but we were obsessed with the vision they had for their luxury romantic ceremony.
…And it did NOT disappoint.
Mrs & Mrs Parker’s wedding was the perfect mix of timeless and modern. The Grove Houston was the perfect backdrop for the couple’s vision – beautiful florals by Petal Society transformed the hotel setting with classic hues of white and sage, and it was hard to believe the day took place in Houston and not in Italy!
Kelly opted for a classic black tuxedo, whilst Heather’s Sarah Seven dress from Lovely Bride was a true showstopper! Inspired by contemporary design trends, its sleek silhouette and cut-out shapes were perfect for showing off her gorgeous tattoos and the cape was a unique twist that showed off her edge! I hope more abstract, minimal dresses become a trend for 2022 weddings because everybody was obsessed, and words can’t describe what an incredibly emotional First Look their outfits created.
The day was perfectly balanced with formal and fun – the ceremony itself was traditional, but with unique details like dog shaped cake-toppers, acoustic jam sessions and scenes from our engagement session printed throughout the venue that showcased Kelly and Heather’s vibrant, creative personalities the experience felt like a true celebration of Pride, inclusivity and love. And with a whole lotta Balvenie whisky we partied the night away!
